The Future (253 Words)

What does the future hold? The future could hold so many good things or many bad things. Will it be the futuristic sci fi type of future where everything is high tech and life is so much easier, like star trek? That would be amazing to be able to travel at warp speed and arrive at a planet never even heard of before in just a few days. It would be insane! Medicine will have had advanced as well. Who knows maybe a cure for cancer will be discovered. There are so many possibilities that could make the world a better place to live. But there is also the possibility of an apocalyptic future like water world. Where humans have destroyed the environment and it is almost impossible to live on earth any more and people have to fight to survive. Would there be someway to save the human race like in wall-e where they build a huge ship and put the entire human race on it so they can continue to live. The human race could also be left to fend for themselves with no help at all. There are so many possible outcomes for our future but nobody can know for sure what it will be. It could be the amazing high tech future where life is easier, or the apocalyptic future where humanity is on the verge of extinction with no where to go. I believe we all have a choice as to what future we as humans will have.
